FIESTA keeps the party going for her owners 2019-02-12
Our purple and white stars were certainly well represented on Saturday with 3 year old filly APERITIF running 3rd and securing that all important black type in the Group 3 MRC Kevin Hayes Stakes at Caulfield whilst 3 year old Dundeel colt DEALMAKER ran on strongly to the line to snatch 2nd in the Group 2 MRC Autumn Stakes at the same track.

KASHIWA and SEAWAY (NZ) start February off on a winning note 2019-02-05
KASHIWA relished his first trip around Moonee Valley on Friday night and broke through for his maiden win compliments of an exceptional ride by Damien Oliver. The 3 year old son of Fighting Sun jumped only fairly and as a result he was detached from the field during the very early stages of the 1,200 metres however Damien didn't panic allowing the gelding to find his rhythm and he soon linked onto the back of the field.

ACCESSION looks to be a star on the rise 2019-01-22
After a dominant win in the 2 year old race at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday, our exciting colt ACCESSION looks to be a leading contender for the $2 million Inglis Millennium on 9th February at Warwick Farm. Only 6 weeks after that, the Golden Slipper looms as a likely target for the talented son of Brazen Beau.

Back to back wins in the Magic Millions Fillies and Mares  2019-01-14
Magic Millions sale week is always one we eagerly look forward to each year and of course the Saturday race day held at the Gold Coast Turf Club is a major highlight. INVINCIBELLA returned this year to defend her title in the $1 million Magic Millions Fillies and Mares and we couldn't be more proud of her stellar achievement to win the race two years in a row.

APERITIF wins first up at Canterbury Park 2019-01-11
APERITIF resumed with a win on Wednesday at Canterbury Park. The filly began well from the barriers for the 1,200 metres event and jockey James McDonald settled her to get a lovely run just in behind the speed in fourth position where she travelled well through the middle stages of the race.

GRESHAM wins on the Kensington track  2019-01-09
GRESHAM continued our great start to the year with a nail biting win in the Kensington Handicap on Saturday over 1,500 metres. The 4 year old son of Sebring bounced back to winning form in good style when given a perfect ride by 3kg claiming Irish apprentice Robbie Dolan.

SELES gives her owners a great start to 2019  2019-01-02
Our purple and white stars saluted on New Year's Day as SELES and Corey Brown carried them to victory at the Kensington meeting to start the new year in fine style. The lightly raced 3 year old daughter of I Am Invincible won her maiden at Newcastle in early November and has raced consistently since with two metropolitan placings leading to her strong win yesterday.

A 2 year old STAR on the rise and 3 winners in 24 hours 2018-12-17
If the expression "some days are diamonds" is correct, the 24 hours ending at Randwick on Saturday afternoon, provided some of our owners with a very successful day of racing.

CATEGORIC wins in eye catching fashion at Newcastle 2018-12-10
It looked at one stage that it would be close to a Star quinella on Saturday at Newcastle when 3 year olds CATEGORIC and VERVE started to wind up on straightening in the 1,400 metres maiden. In the end it was the Zoustar gelding CATEGORIC who raced away to win by just under 2 lengths in an eye catching performance and a nicely judged ride by Kathy O'Hara.

BELLA SUCCESS wins in testing conditions at Warwick Farm 2018-11-29
A heavy track at Warwick Farm on a day when Sydney received a huge amount of rain in 12 hours, did not deter James McDonald who had a great day at the races with 3 winners for Chris' stable on a seven race program including a top class ride to win on our 4 year old I Am Invincible mare BELLA SUCCESS, first up over 1,200 metres.

John Tapp Racing Podcast - Episode 47 Denise Martin 2018-11-22
As a kid in Tasmania, Denise Martin often went to the races with her dad. The magic of racing was on her mind, throughout the years she spent in the hospitality industry. Two days, 3 winners on 3 different racetracks 2018-11-06
The first to greet the winning post was 4 year old gelding CEDARWOOD on Friday at Ipswich. Jockey Michael McNab elected to have him go forward in the 1,690 metres Class 3 and for the bulk of the race CEDARWOOD travelled easily, several lengths behind the leader who had put a margin on the field after a couple of?hundred metres.

MANGIONE strikes a chord to win well at Canterbury Park 2018-10-29
Our fine staying prospect MANGIONE came from well back in the field to win at Canterbury Park on Friday night. The son of Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente was noticeably very unlucky not to break his maiden status at Newcastle at his previous start, so the step up to 1,900 metres this time was just what he was looking for with MANGIONE now a metropolitan winner at his 3rd race start.

A good result at the end of the day 2018-10-15
The patient owners of 3 year old gelding BURBANK needed to wait until the last race on the Kembla Grange program on Saturday over 1,400 metres to get the result they wanted. After jumping sharply from the barrier, BURBANK took up a forward position to settle fourth on the rail until the corner of the home turn, when an opening appeared immediately outside the leader.

Star's mid-week double continues our stellar "purple patch" 2018-10-11
It's said in racing circles that we should all enjoy the good days and success, because the less than great days require any amount of "character building" to get through. Yesterday at Warwick Farm was a terrific day for some of our Star owners with the 2 horses racing that afternoon, both winning.
