Sebring x Lumic, colt
This good looking colt by Fastnet Rock from the talented Testa Rossa mare Rendzina caught our eye. It is important to note, Testa Rossa mares when crossed with Fastnet Rock have produced 2019 Group 1 winning 2YO Prince Fawaz (similar to our colt he was bred by Baramul Stud), as well as dual Group 2 winner Anaheed ($1.36 million earnings) from just 8 starters.

“Training for Star Thoroughbreds is a delightful experience. From entry point through to a young horse’s race career right up until his or her retirement, the Star team have a very well thought out system to look after their clients’ investment and the horse equally. Training for Star is a common sense approach where the horse comes first; we do the right thing by them and the investor continues to enjoy their involvement with us with anticipation of success on the racetrack, whilst creating new friendships with their racing partners. Denise and her team ensure that racing with Star is absolutely a 5 star experience.”

This gorgeous colt is by Fastnet Rock, a stallion who has finished in the top 10 on the Australian Sires List for the past eleven seasons, including twice at No.1. With progeny earnings approaching $200 million and 37 individual Group 1 winners, here is an opportunity to purchase a colt by a sire genuinely considered one of the best stallions in the world today.
This colt is out of five-time Metropolitan winner and stakes performer, Rendzina by the very successful sire Testa Rossa. Rendzina’s grand-dam Khaptivaan, was top class, winning the STC Sweet Embrace Stakes (Listed, now Group 2) as a 2YO and the AJC Surround Stakes (Group 2, now Group 1) as a 3YO, and produced 8 winners at stud including the blistering Group 1 winning Oakleigh Plate winner Khaptingly.
This colt was consigned at the Magic Millions by Westbury Stud on behalf of its sister Australian farm Baramul Stud, where this colt was foaled and reared. Baramul Stud is situated in the famed Widden Valley, NSW. During its long standing history, this land has produced some of Australia’s greatest ever racehorses (think Todman) and more recently 2019-2020 Group winning 3YO’S Alligator Blood and Libertini.
