This attractive chestnut colt is by Champion First Season Sire Russian Revolution, out of the Declaration Of War (USA) mare, Encinitas (IRE). Baring resemblance to his sire, he has a powerful and athletic physique, with a wonderful black-type pedigree and winning attitude to match.

“An excellent first foal. Plenty of strength and scope…covers a lot of ground with his walk. Definitely the best Russian Revolution colt I have seen from his first two crops.”

CHAMPION 1st Season Sire 2021-2022. In this decade, ONLY I Am Invincible, Northern Meteor and Russian Revolution have led by both winners and earnings. Russian Revolution stands at one of Australia’s leading stallion farms, Newgate Farm. The fastest son of Snitzel at stud, he was a multiple Group 1 winner and defeated champion sprinter Redzel in the Group 1 Galaxy at just his sixth career start. He had seven wins from nine starts at stakes level and above.
Encinitas (IRE) is by the prolific US stallion, Declaration Of War (USA), and is a half-sister to ten-time winner Enterprising. This colt is her first foal. She has a strong pedigree, with plenty of Group winners and stakes performers on the page, including The Top International 3YO Sprinter, Stravinsky.
In Queensland’s Darling Downs stands Highgrove Stud, a family-owned and operated farm with a reputation for being motivated vendors and contributing strongly to the honour roll of graduates from the region. Farm graduates include Thronum, Legally Bay, the dam of Group 1 winner-turned-sire Merchant Navy, Summer Passage and the Group 1-placed Verne. The region provides ideal countryside for raising equine athletes, with mineral rich soil watered by an underground stream that is filtered through basalt, so when Highgrove horses are tested for bone density, they top the class.

This colt is $41,500 (inc GST) per 10% share or $20,750 (inc GST) per 5% share. This colt is 50% SOLD.
