From the draft of Edinglassie Stud, this attractive and athletic colt is by Shooting To Win, out of Xaar’s Jewel. He is well-developed, with a long stride, and loads of confidence, which match his black-type pedigree.

“A good-sized, high-quality colt. He has nice strength and good movement. Possibly the best Shooting to Win yearling I have ever seen.”

Edinglassie Thoroughbred Stud is a boutique thoroughbred farm, situated in New South Wales’ equine heartland, Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley. Sprawling over 500 acres, the property is steeped in Australian pioneering heritage. It was the initial settlement of pastoralists and racehorse breeders, the White family, when they came to the Hunter Valley over 150 years ago. One of the Whites greatest successes was on the track in 1877 when his horse Chester won the Victoria Racing Club’s Derby-Melbourne Cup double. In recent decades, it was the property where the Oatley family chose to establish Rosemount Wines. Edinglassie has been run by Mick and Michelle Talty for the past 27 years, with the experienced Andrew Baddock and Natasha Akland in Management positions.

This colt is $23,950 (inc GST) per 10% share or $11,975 (inc GST) per 5% share.
