KUBRICK has had his zest for racing return this preparation and broke through the $1 million prize money earnings barrier last start with a 3rd placing in the Listed Brisbane Handicap. The 5 year old gelding gifted his owners some additional festive cheer on Boxing Day with an impressive Stakes win in the Listed Bernborough Plate at Doomben.

KUBRICK jumped well from the inside barrier and jockey Larry Cassidy settled the gelding in 5th position on the rail through the early stages of the mile event. Larry began to improve their position from the 600 metres mark and KUBRICK let down strongly upon straightening to come through the leading quartet and win in eye catching style.

KUBRICK is back to his best and showing great heart and tenacity to win in his racing. Thank you to Chris Waller Racing with special mention to the Gold Coast stable team.
