POSSIBILITIES has been racing in great form recently placing at her previous 4 starts and yesterday at Ipswich over 1,666m she returned to the winner’s enclosure. The 4 year old mare jumped well and showed early speed to settle midfield with Kyle Wilson-Taylor aboard. She travelled comfortably at a moderate tempo through the early and middle stages. Approaching the 600 metres, POSSIBILITIES began to build momentum, shifting out to a three wide position around the field. She built through her gears nicely and the daughter of So You Think (NZ) finished strongly down the straight to win by a neck.

Kyle commented post race that “she was very good and appreciated the conditions”. He commented that with limited speed in the race, he used his initiative to settle closer early before easing off the tempo to conserve her energy, knowing she has a strong turn of foot, “she responded well and finished the race off strongly”. POSSIBILITIES has enjoyed a good preparation and will now earn a well deserved spell.
