A winner on three of his four starts as a 2 year old, including the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes, where he achieved the equal top Timeform rating of 124 for the race in the last 25 years. In addition to that win, he picked up the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes and the Listed Inglis Nursery (R) on his debut. He trained on as a 3 year old, winning the Group 1 Moir Stakes on his seasonal reappearance before finishing third in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate. Overall, he ended his career with four wins and a third from eight starts, with six of those starts coming at Group 1 level, highlighting his class and consistency as well as his solid constitution. Extreme Choice made a flying start to his stud career at Newgate Farm, becoming Champion First Season Sire in 2020-21, with three Stakes winning 2 year olds in that first crop. He then became leading second season sire by Stakes winners, with many of his progeny taking after him by being classy 2 year olds who train on. To date, he has sired seven Group winners, including three at the top level; VRC Oaks and Champagne Stakes winner She’s Extreme; Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside and Star's own Coolmore Classic winner Espiona. His successes mean that he is the most elite stallion standing in Australia, with an impressive 14% Stakes Winners/Runners and 8.1% Group Winners/Runners.
Trained by James Cummings, Tree Of Jesse won on five occasions. She is by Street Cry, the broodmare sire of a staggering 25 Group 1 winners, including Romantic Warrior, Cascadian, Cylinder and Farnan. Her female line is full of black-type quality, as she is a half-sister to Listed winner and Group 2 placegetter Related. Her pedigree is still active, as she hails from the same family as recent 2 year old Group 1 Manawatu Sires Produce winner Move To Strike, as well as Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter No Evidence Needed.
