MCHALE won impressively on debut as a late season 2 year old last year and now as a gelding, he won in similar fashion at Warwick Farm yesterday first up with Tyler Schiller aboard. The son of Shooting To Win was an Inglis Classic selection by Star and Randwick Bloodstock Agency and races in the celtic green and white silks of Paramount Racing. MCHALE settled just worse than midfield for the 1,300 metres event and he was awkwardly positioned approaching the bend. Tyler set him about his task at the top of the straight and the gelding showed good acceleration over the concluding stages to pick up the leader and score a dominant win.
