NOBLE CONQUEROR has a refreshed zest for racing and following Saturday’s victory, he has now won 3 of his last 4 starts only being beaten by less than a length on one occasion. We understand from the stable team that his renewed enthusiasm is thanks to a happy relationship with his new trackwork rider and this once again shows the importance of the work the stable staff do behind the scenes.

The gelding drifted back from the wide gate and settled towards the rear of the field where he travelled nicely throughout for the mile event on soft 7 track conditions. Jockey Andrew Mallyon hugged the rail rounding the turn for home and NOBLE CONQUEROR let down strongly in the straight to slice through the field. He was headed in the approach to the post but kicked back and showed a tremendous tenacity to win by a neck.

Congratulations to the winning NOBLE CONQUEROR owners Boeara Holdings (Manager: Denise Dunphy), Paramount Racing (Manager: Kathryn Wood), Martin Ive, Rachel Ive, Rebecca Grasso, Estate of the late Howard Blight, Kurt Jaggar, Ron Bell, Phil Pegram, Hon. Wayne Haylen Q.C., Christiaan Roberts, Heather Wilson, CGO Racing.
