Physically, King’s Legacy is one of the most impressive stallions on the scene. His excellent conformation and pedigree resulted in his price tag as a yearling, which he justified on the track.

The only dual-Group 1 winning two-year-old son of Redoute’s Choice, he was fast and precocious, with wins between 1,200 and 1,600 metres.

King’s Legacy has a true stallion’s pedigree; his mother was a stakes-placed half-sister to a Group 1 winner. He is also similarly bred to the top-class stallion, Not A Single Doubt; both are sons of Redoute’s Choice from the same female family.

King’s Legacy’s first yearlings have received an extremely positive reception, selling for up to $775k at the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale.
This filly is the first foal of the Pierro mare, Miss Penfold. She won three times between 1,600 and 2,220 metres.

A daughter of Group 1-performer, The Golden Dane, Miss Penfold is one of 9 winners bred from her dam. She is also a half-sister to Group 2 winner, Dan De Lago.

The quality and consistency of the family stands out; numerous siblings of Miss Penfold have produced black type performers themselves, suggesting that athleticism runs in family.

Making an exceptional start to his career as a broodmare stallion, Pierro has a Group 1 winner recorded (Jacquinot) along with an 8.8% stakes winners to runners rate. The future looks bright for mares by this stallion.
