Chabaud is a New Zealand-bred daughter of American sire Lookin At Lucky. She won the Group 3 South Australia Fillies Classic as well as the Listed Tasmanian Oaks.

Chabaud has produced three foals of racing age, with one winner: Bravado - Star Brite (HK), who has won five times, including three valuable races in Hong Kong.

She is from a quality female line, boasting horses such as Group 1 Manikato Stakes winning sprinter, Sea Siren and Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks winner, Warm Heart.
